Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Diploma Mechanical Engineer with hands-on experience in managing the manufacturing shop floor or production processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to ensure smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor production machinery and equipment.
• Planning, coordination, and execution of production processes for all the machines on the shopfloor on a weekly plan basis.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machinery, equipment, and production processes.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure the final product meets quality standards.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Report accurate records of production data, equipment status, and maintenance activities to upper management.
• Assist in the training of junior staff or operators on production techniques and safety protocols.
• Ability to interact with and update customers on order status, understand new requirements and technically discuss with the customer on any doubts or concerns.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field with strong communication, team work and leadership skills to manage operations.
• 10-12 years of experience in manufacturing/production, in a mechanical or industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and machinery.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
• Good knowledge of CNC machines, Conventional machines, Drlling machines & processes is a requirement.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control procedures.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
