Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and increase market penetration for FMCG food products.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting, lead generation, and cold calling to secure new accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, distributors, and retailers to maximize sales opportunities and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends, consumer preferences, and market developments.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to identify product enhancements, promotions, and marketing initiatives to drive sales growth.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to potential clients and key stakeholders.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze sales data, and generate reports to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, pricing, and market trends to effectively communicate value propositions and differentiate our products in the market.
- Adhere to company policies, sales processes, and compliance standards to ensure ethical business practices and regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in FMCG food sales, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of FMCG industry dynamics, market trends, and consumer behavior.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM software.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
