Assistant Manager

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Allocate work to the team based on prioritization. 
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to gather and verify data and also to understand the upstream and downstream impact.
  • Perform first level review of Payroll Variances to check if it is within the agreed threshold. Validate and Document reasons if the Variance is above the agreed threshold.
  • Audit payroll reports, address discrepancies if any before it is sent to the Client stakeholders.
  • Ensure that the Payroll Timeliness and Accuracy are meeting/exceeding the Client Targets.
  • Act as the first point of escalation to resolve any payroll-related queries.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the various Earnings, Deductions and Benefits associated with the US Payroll.
  • Have a thorough understanding of Terminations process from an immediate and non-immediate pay state perspective.
  • Stay updated on tax regulations, compliance requirements related to US payroll processing by collaborating with the Client organization and guide the team accordingly.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good understanding about the relevant Payroll System.
