Technical Project Manager - IT Business Relationship Management (Finance)
Job Description Summary
IT Business Relationship Management with mission: To be technology thought partners to the Region, ensuring tight alignment of IT strategy and roadmaps with key drivers to successfully deliver on business outcomes and the GE HealthCare mission.Job Description
Main Objectives of organization:
Understand IT requirements in the context of International Finance priorities.
Facilitate the prioritization of the most impactful IT investments, with a bias towards Lean and harmonization.
Ensure the successful delivery and materialization of business outcomes associated with IT projects.
Provide a single point of accountability for IT delivery management and escalation.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary liaison for Finance and Controllership in interactions with IT.
Work closely with all finance processes, with a focus on billing and invoicing.
Maintain a high-level understanding of the IT Finance ecosystem, particularly Oracle ERP and related integrations.
Engage positively with stakeholders, balancing and aligning their diverse priorities.
Be a great team player, knowing when, how, and whom to ask for help.
Lead the planning and implementation of technical projects, ensuring projects are completed according to outlined objectives.
Develop detailed project plans to track progress and ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless project execution.
Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
Report and escalate to management as needed.
Ensure technical feasibility and resource availability.
Oversee quality assurance and ensure objectives are met.
Provide functional/business guidance and support to the project team.
Conduct post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in IT project management, preferably within the finance sector.
Strong understanding of finance processes and systems, especially Oracle ERP.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Experience in managing resources, schedules, financials, and adhering to quality control guidelines throughout the full systems development life cycle.
Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
