Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for administering, developing, testing, and demonstrating databases. Your typical day will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining new databases, performing backup/recovery, and configuration management using your expertise in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain new databases using Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies. - Perform backup/recovery and configuration management of databases. - Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database performance, security, and availability. - Provide technical support to clients and teams on database-related issues. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Expertise in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with database management systems (DBMS) such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL. - Strong understanding of database architecture, design, and implementation. - Experience with backup/recovery and configuration management of databases. - Solid grasp of database performance, security, and availability. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions. - This position is based at our Chennai office.
