Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Solar PV Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar PV systems in accordance with industry standards and ZyTech Solar's guidelines. This role requires a strong understanding of solar technology, electrical systems, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation:Perform installation of solar PV systems on rooftops, ground mounts, or other structures, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and local regulations.

2. Assembly: Assemble and integrate solar modules, inverters, mounting equipment, and electrical components to construct a functional solar PV system.

3. Electrical Work: Connect wiring, inverters, and other electrical components according to electrical diagrams and specifications.

4. Testing and Commissioning: Conduct testing of solar PV systems to ensure proper functioning and performance. Commission systems and verify operation to meet customer expectations.

5. Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and inspections on installed systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to resolve any faults or performance concerns.

6. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety standards and protocols at all times to maintain a safe working environment. Follow procedures for working at heights, electrical safety, and equipment operation.

7. Documentation: Complete installation reports, service logs, and other necessary documentation accurately and promptly.

Qualifications:

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or certification in solar installation or electrical trades preferred.

- Experience: Previous experience in solar PV installation or electrical work is highly desirable. Familiarity with hand and power tools used in construction and electrical work.

- Skills: Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

- Certifications: Valid driver's license. Solar PV installation certifications (e.g., NABCEP) preferred.

- Physical Requirements: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and at heights. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds of equipment and materials.
