Job Description

Introduction

The Fleet Sales Consultant role is a great opportunity to put your sales & negotiation skills to the test in a dynamically growing space. Fleet Operations is going to be one of the key focus areas for Uber India in the next few years, and the said role offers an entry into the domain.


Key Result Areas

Forge partnerships with big-sized fleets in the region- extend the network further to add newer partners to the Uber Platform

Provide constant on-ground feedback to the Operations team, regarding the urgent requirements, concerns or suggestions from the Fleet Partners

Manage contract negotiations aimed at establishing the foundation of a strong working relationship with our fleet partners, including sustainable economics for both parties

Achieve and consistently exceed Sales (Acquisition) goals, typically on an MoM basis

Partner with onboarding teams to ensure a seamless experience for new fleet partners

Build best practices in liaison with the Bangalore Supply Growth team to ensure constant and effective engagement of fleet partners and the corresponding driver-partners

Act as an ambassador of Uber's mission, brand, and product, through all interactions: physical, email or telephonic, and propagate the Value Proposition we offer


Key Performance Indicators

Number of Fleet Vehicles added to the Platform

Number of Fleet Partners added to the existing base

Number of Trips taken by the newly added Fleet Vehicles

Number of Vehicles completing 100 trips within 28 days





Requirements

Skill Set/Experience Required

Full working proficiency in English and Hindi (Written and verbal) - Primary cognition of Hindi appreciated

Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 experience in a Sales/Business Development Role preferably in the B2B and Automobile space

Exceptional communication/negotiation skills and transactional understanding of the fleet business

Organisational ability to liaise with multiple internal & external stakeholders with minute attention to detail

Ability to learn on the go and to learn through iterative correction, with a zeal to get better every day

A builder's mind, and a passion for Uber, alongside an infectiously positive attitude and drive to win


Additional Pointers

The role requires immediate on-ground effort, thus readiness to join within a maximum of one month from the offer rollout would be highly preferred

The role requires regular travel, thus readiness to be constantly on the move is expected

As mentioned above, the role would be under a Third Party Payroll, and thus would be contractual in nature

Usual guidelines with regard to Data Privacy & Security apply similar to all other roles
