Teacher Job Description

Position Overview: Seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to enhance our Udaan educational Project team. The successful candidate will educate students /Survivors of the shelter home and assist them in reaching their potential goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and present stimulating lessons to students.

Evaluate and grade students' worksheets and assignments.

Monitor and record student progress.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Maintain regular communication with shelter homes and Udaan team regarding student progress.

Engage in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Online and offline teaching techniques.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education/BSW or a related discipline.

Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Flexibility in teaching approaches to accommodate diverse student needs.

Preferred Skills:

Proficiency with educational technology and digital learning resources.

Effective classroom management skills.

Robust interpersonal abilities and a collaborative work ethic.

Experience:

Two to five years of classroom experience; experience in the social sector development is preferred but not required.

Language Proficiency:

English, Hindi and Kannada
