Job Description

The Event Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue by securing new business and managing relationships with clients for various events. This role involves sales, customer relationship management, and collaboration with event planning teams to ensure successful event execution. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, goal-oriented, and possesses excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales and Revenue Generation
  • Prospect for New Clients: Identify and generate new leads through research, networking, and cold calling.
  • Sales Presentations: Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and close sales to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Follow-Up: Maintain regular contact with prospective clients and follow up on leads.
  1. Client Relationship Management
  • Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Customer Support: Provide exceptional support to clients before, during, and after events.
  • Feedback and Improvement: Gather and analyze client feedback to improve future services.
  1. Event Planning Collaboration
  • Client Needs Assessment: Meet with clients to understand their event objectives, budget, and preferences.
  • Coordinate with Planners: Work closely with event planners to ensure all aspects of the event meet client expectations.
  • Vendor and Venue Coordination: Assist in the selection and management of venues and vendors.
  1. Marketing and Promotion
  • Participate in Promotional Activities: Attend trade shows, networking events, and promotional activities to attract new clients.
  • Leverage Digital Marketing: Utilize social media and other digital marketing tools to promote services and generate leads.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably within the events or hospitality industry.

Working Conditions

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
  • Ability to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
