Job Overview:
As a Telesales Executive at ICICI Lombard, you will play a key role in driving sales by promoting and selling our range of insurance products over the phone. Your responsibilities will include engaging with potential customers, understanding their insurance needs, presenting our products effectively, and closing sales to achieve your targets. You will be part of a fast-paced, target-driven environment and will contribute to expanding our customer base and building long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Outbound Sales Calls: Make outbound calls to potential customers, providing information on ICICI Lombard’s insurance products (motor, health, travel, home, etc.) and explaining their features, benefits, and coverage options.
- Customer Needs Analysis: Understand the customer’s requirements by asking relevant questions and offer suitable products based on their specific needs and budget.
- Product Presentation & Pitching: Present ICICI Lombard products in a clear, persuasive, and customer-friendly manner, ensuring the customer understands how the product meets their needs.
- Lead Generation & Follow-up: Generate leads through telecalling, follow up on warm leads, and convert these leads into actual sales. Maintain an organized pipeline of prospects and track progress in the CRM system.
- Sales Closure: Close sales effectively, handle objections, and ensure a smooth process from initial interest to policy issuance.
- Cross-Selling & Upselling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell additional products, such as health insurance, home insurance, etc., to meet customer needs.
- Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets set by the management. Achieve monthly and quarterly goals while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure that all sales processes are compliant with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements. Accurately document customer interactions and sales transactions.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest product offerings, policies, and promotions from ICICI Lombard. Continuously improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Qualifications
- :Education:
- 12th is applicable.
- Candidates with prior experience in telesales, insurance, or customer service are preferred.
- Experience:
- Freshers are also applicable.
- Prior experience in selling insurance products (motor, health, life, etc.) is a plus.
- Skills:
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a clear and professional phone manner.
- Strong sales skills, with the ability to persuade and close sales effectively.
- Customer-focused approach with excellent relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to handle rejection and maintain motivation in a target-driven environment.
- Proficient in using CRM software and basic MS Office tools.
- Preferred:
- Knowledge of insurance products and the ability to explain complex terms in a simple and engaging manner.
- Multilingual skills can be an advantage, especially in regional languages.
