Job Summary:

As an MBA Counselor, you will play a vital role in guiding and supporting students aspiring to pursue MBA programs in India. You will provide expert advice on program selection, eligibility criteria, application processes, and career outcomes. Your primary objective is to assist students in making informed decisions and ensure a seamless counseling experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Student Counseling:

• Engage with students and their families to understand their academic background, career aspirations, and financial considerations.
• Provide detailed information about MBA programs, colleges, and admission requirements in India.

1. Application Support:

• Assist students in filling out application forms and preparing required documents.
• Guide them through entrance exam requirements, deadlines, and eligibility criteria.

1. Program Guidance:

• Help students select MBA specializations that align with their career goals.
• Provide insights into college rankings, placement records, and faculty profiles.

1. Entrance Exam Preparation:

• Offer guidance on preparation strategies for entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, and MAT.
• Recommend resources and coaching centers for additional support.

1. Follow-Up and Support:

• Regularly follow up with students to ensure timely submission of applications and documents.
• Address queries related to interviews, group discussions, and written ability tests.

1. Market Awareness:

• Stay updated on the latest trends, policies, and developments in the Indian MBA education sector.
• Develop and maintain relationships with top MBA colleges to provide accurate information to students.

1. Promotional Activities:

• Participate in seminars, workshops, and career fairs to promote Future Dream Makers’ counseling services.
• Conduct webinars and sessions to educate students about MBA opportunities in India.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience in education counseling, especially for MBA programs, is a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple students and deadlines efficiently.
• Knowledge of the Indian education system and MBA entrance exams.

Work Environment:

• Full-time position based in Indore, with potential travel for promotional events and college visits.
