Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. **Designing and Selling Holiday Packages:**

- Create, customize, and promote international holiday packages based on client preferences and budgets.

- Research and curate detailed itineraries that include flights, accommodations, sightseeing, transportation, and other services.

- Recommend destinations, hotels, and activities that match clients' travel interests and needs.

2. **Client Consultation and Support:**

- Meet with clients to understand their travel goals, preferences, and requirements.

- Offer expert advice on international destinations, travel options, visa procedures, and travel insurance.

- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing assistance and resolving any issues during the booking process or throughout the tour.

3. **Booking and Reservation Management:**

- Handle bookings for flights, hotels, activities, transportation, and other travel services.

- Negotiate rates with suppliers, hotels, and other service providers to secure the best deals for clients.

- Ensure timely confirmations of all reservations and send booking documents to clients.

4. **Tour Coordination and Operations:**

- Liaise with local and international suppliers to arrange smooth and hassle-free travel experiences for clients.

- Coordinate and manage all logistical aspects of the tour, including transfers, tour guides, special requests, and add-on services.

- Monitor the progress of tours and address any operational issues that may arise during the trip.

5. **Market Research and Destination Expertise:**

- Stay up to date with the latest trends in the travel industry, especially concerning international destinations, hotels, activities, and customer preferences.

- Develop expertise in popular and emerging global travel destinations and advise clients accordingly.

6. **Sales and Target Achievement:**

- Meet and exceed sales targets by promoting holiday packages and upselling additional travel services.

- Work closely with the marketing team to identify and convert sales leads.

- Foster long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

7. **Customer Service and Post-Trip Support:**

- Ensure exceptional customer service throughout the tour planning and booking process.

- Follow up with clients post-trip to obtain feedback and resolve any concerns.

- Handle any tour cancellations, changes, or emergencies that may arise.

8. **Documentation and Reporting:**

- Prepare detailed itineraries, cost estimates, and quotations for clients.

- Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and customer interactions.

- Report on sales performance, customer feedback, and tour operations to the management team.

#### **Skills and Qualifications:**

- **Educational Background:** Degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.

- **Experience:** 1-3 years of experience in selling international holiday packages or working as a tour operator.

- **Knowledge:** Strong knowledge of global travel destinations, tourism trends, and travel logistics.

- **Skills:**

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong sales and negotiation abilities.

- High level of organizational and time management skills.

- Proficiency in travel booking systems and software (GDS, CRM).

- Ability to handle multiple bookings and clients simultaneously.

- **Personal Traits:**

- Passion for travel and tourism.

- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure.

- Strong attention to detail and customer-focused approach.
