Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing accurate financial reporting. The Accountant will work closely with other departments to support business operations and maintain financial integrity.

• Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
• Monthly/Quarterly/Year-End Closing: Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded and reconciled.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement) and provide management with timely financial insights.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Tax Compliance: Assist in preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Audit Support: Provide support during internal and external audits by ensuring necessary documentation is in place.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and local regulations.
• Process Improvement: Recommend improvements to accounting procedures and financial controls to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Ad-hoc Reporting: Provide reports and analysis on special projects as requested by management.
