Job Title: Business Development Associate

Location: Kolkata

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience: 1-3 years in Business Development, Sales, or Outreach (preferably in education, training, or skill development)

We are a leading training institute dedicated to empowering individuals from tier 2 and tier 3 cities by providing quality skill development programs in Hospitality management catering to the needs of both Residential as well as Commercial spaces. We have designed a 14 and 45-day training course which are designed to equip candidates with practical skills that help them secure stable and rewarding jobs.

 

Job Summary

 

The Business Development Associate will be responsible for creating awareness about our training programs, driving enrollments from tier 2 and tier 3 cities, and establishing long-term relationships with field agents and local influencers. The role requires outreach, lead generation, and meeting sales targets within specific timelines.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead Generation & Outreach:
  • Identify and engage with potential candidates, school counsellors, Gram Panchayat leaders, NGOs, SHGs, and other local influencers to spread awareness about our training programs.
  • Field Visits:
  • Travel to tier 2 and tier 3 cities to meet potential partners and candidates, conducting presentations and organizing events to promote the training programs.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with field agents and referral partners to ensure a steady flow of candidate referrals.
  • Sales Target Achievement:
  • Meet monthly and quarterly enrollment targets by converting leads into participants in the training program.
  • Market Research:
  • Conduct market research to understand the needs and pain points of potential candidates, using insights to refine outreach strategies.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
  • Track and report progress on leads, conversions, and enrollment numbers, providing insights and feedback to improve outreach strategies.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or community outreach, preferably in the education or skill development sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially in local languages.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time, and meet targets.
  • Willingness to travel or work frequently in tier 2 and tier 3 cities.


Compensation & Benefits

  •  Salary: ₹10,000 per month Fixed + Performance Bonus (₹ 20,000 - ₹ 30,000)
  • Incentives: For exceeding enrollment targets.
