Job Description: As a Business Development Executive at Axis Bank, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our banking services. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets. Your goal will be to enhance the bank's market presence and contribute to its overall success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and acquire new clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business targets.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales activities and performance to the management.
  • Participate in promotional events and activities to enhance the bank's visibility and brand image.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or a related role, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Good understanding of banking products and services.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
