Job Description

This role involves identifying potential clients, generating leads, nurturing relationships, and converting prospects into satisfied customers. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of the software industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and generate new business opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking events.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their needs and presenting appropriate software solutions.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients, highlighting the features and benefits of our software solutions.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline, track leads, and follow up with potential clients to move them through the sales process.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies, share insights, and optimize lead generation efforts.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress towards targets. Provide regular reports and updates to the Sales Manager.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the software industry.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Sales Skills: Strong negotiation and closing skills, proven to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Technical Acumen: Understanding software products and technology solutions, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies.
