Job Description
Platform Management:
- Oversee the implementation and administration of educational technology platforms (e.g., Learning Management Systems, Virtual Learning Environments).
- Ensure platforms are operating effectively, meeting user needs, and aligning with educational goals.
Technical Support and Training:
- Provide technical support to users (teachers, students, administrators) to resolve issues related to educational technology platforms.
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure users are proficient in using digital tools effectively.
Data Management and Analytics:
- Manage data integration and analytics to track platform usage, user engagement, and performance metrics.
- Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement in educational technology initiatives.
Content Management:
- Oversee the creation, organization, and maintenance of digital content on educational platforms.
- Collaborate with content developers and subject matter experts to ensure content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with curriculum standards.
Project Management:
- Lead and coordinate projects related to the development, enhancement, or integration of educational technology solutions.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables; manage timelines and budgets; and ensure successful project implementation.
Quality Assurance:
- Establish and implement quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability, usability, and security of educational technology platforms.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain high standards of performance and user satisfaction.
Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts, monitor service level agreements, and ensure vendors deliver products and services according to agreed-upon terms.
Compliance and Security:
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, COPPA) and educational standards (e.g., accessibility guidelines).
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure the integrity of educational technology systems.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders (e.g., educators, administrators, IT staff) to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns related to educational technology initiatives.
