Position Overview: The Production Manager for Spice production Unit Operations will oversee all aspects of the food production and packaging process within the manufacturing facility. This role involves managing the production team, ensuring efficient and timely production schedules, maintaining quality standards, and optimizing resources. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive experience in food production unit, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning and Control:

1. Team Management:

• Supervise and lead a team of production staff, including operators, technicians, and supervisors.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training programs to enhance team skills.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication.

1. Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Implement and monitor quality control processes and procedures.
• Address and resolve any quality issues promptly, working closely with the quality assurance team.

1. Safety and Compliance:

• Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Stay updated with industry regulations and standards, ensuring compliance in all production activities.
• Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.

1. Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement lean manufacturing practices.
• Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve production performance.
• Lead initiatives to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and enhance overall productivity.

1. Resource Management:

• Manage the allocation of resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to meet production goals.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Prepare and manage the production budget, controlling costs and optimizing expenditure.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in food production management.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Understanding of safety regulations and quality standards in manufacturing.
