Job Title: Sales Manager


Job Overview:

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and guiding a team of salespeople within an organization. They set sales goals & quotas, build a sales plan, analyze data, assign sales territories, and mentor the members of their sales team. The Sales Manager's main goal is to drive revenue growth and ensure the team meets or exceeds sales targets.


Key Responsibilities:

- Sales Strategy and Planning:

 - Develop and implement strategic sales plans that expand the company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence.

 - Set objectives, performance metrics, and KPIs for the sales team.


- Team Leadership and Development:

 - Recruit, hire, and train sales team members.

 - Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to enhance the team’s performance and professional development.

 - Conduct performance evaluations and create improvement plans for under performing team members.


- Customer Relationship Management:

 - Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

 - Work closely with key customers and manage client expectations.

 - Address customer complaints and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction.


- Sales Performance and Reporting:

 - Monitor sales metrics and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

 - Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports for senior management.

 - Use CRM software to track sales activities, pipeline, and customer interactions.


- Market Analysis:

 - Conduct market research and analyze competition to identify new business opportunities.

 - Stay updated on industry trends and market dynamics.


Requirements:

- Education and Experience:

 - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

 - Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar role.

 - Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.


- Skills:

 - Strong leadership and team management skills.

 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 - Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

 - Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

 - Ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve sales goals.

Preferred Qualifications:
