Advanced Hardware Simulation/Design Engineer is responsible to perform various physic-based simulation for Electrical/Electronics product/systems. This role defines the standard simulation tools and process for Electronic simulation, deploy customized simulation solutions and process across organization with aim to cut down the product development cycle time and cost by 50%. This role is also responsible for developing a community of practitioners by closely working with engineering and design functions across organizations to drive the simulation strategy. This role is also responsible on simulation development and deployment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Define solutioning approach/strategy & Execute for electronics simulations and tools
• Work with product teams to identify the opportunities for adoption of simulation to cut down product cycle time and cost
• Deploy standard work process for electronics simulation and enable business adoption to enterprise standards
• Work with SBGs & Third-Party Vendors to get the simulation work done by understanding the simulation requirements.
• Responsible to do the Simulation development& deployment across organization with focus on Electronic PCB and System level simulations

Must Have:

• Electrical or Electronics Engineering Degree
• 4-8 Years of Hands on experience in electronics simulation tools such as Hyperlynx, Ansys EDT, Siwave, HFSS, Maxwell
• Knowledge and experience in product development process for Electronic components in the areas of sensing, industrial process & automation, flow meters, fire products, lighting/ optical products.
• Experience on Knowledge Based Engineering, Standardization of process and automation around electronic components simulation
• Hands on experience in PI, SI, EMI/EMC, FPGA, Thermal Cooling of PCBs
• Knowledge over various certification standards and qualification for Electronics components like FCC, CE, UL, etc…
