Job Type: Full-Time


About the Role:


We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Operations and Inventory Manager to oversee the entire lifecycle of fabric management, order processing, stock tracking, and payment coordination for our Indian festive wear designer brand. The successful candidate will manage relations with multi-designer stores, coordinate deliveries, and keep track of the manufacturing process while ensuring smooth operations from order intake to payment completion.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Fabric and Material Management:

  - Monitor and manage fabric stock, ensuring availability based on production requirements.

  - Coordinate fabric procurement, storage, and usage to minimize wastage and ensure timely supply for manufacturing.


2. Order and Inventory Management:

  - Track all incoming orders from multiple sales channels, including multi-designer stores and online platforms.

  - Maintain updated records of inventory, including stock at multi-designer stores, returns, and stock availability at the warehouse.

  - Ensure all orders are processed efficiently and delivered on time.


3. Manufacturing Process Oversight:

  - Liaise with production teams to monitor the progress of orders and ensure that production timelines are met.

  - Ensure quality control checks are conducted at various stages of the manufacturing process.

  - Identify and address any production delays or issues.


4. Payment and Financial Coordination:

  - Track payments received from multi-designer stores and reconcile them against orders and invoices.

  - Coordinate with the accounts team to ensure timely payment collection.

  - Maintain records of outstanding payments and follow up as needed.


5. Client and Store Coordination:

  - Maintain communication with multi-designer stores to monitor stock levels, ensure smooth replenishment, and address any discrepancies in orders or returns.

  - Handle store queries regarding stock availability, order status, and delivery timelines.


6. Reporting and Documentation:

  - Create detailed reports on stock movement, order status, payment collection, and overall sales performance.

  - Document and track returns and damages, and ensure the resolution of any issues with stores.


Qualifications:


- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.

- 2-4 years of experience in operations, inventory management, or production coordination within the fashion or retail industry.

- Strong understanding of fabric types and manufacturing processes.

- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.

- Proficiency in inventory management software and Excel.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with stores, clients, and internal teams.
