HR Recruiter cum Placement Coordinator 

Company: Upsurge Infotech LLP 

Working Days: Monday to Saturday (6 days)

Working Hours: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM


Job Description:


We are looking for an HR cum Placement Coordinator who will be responsible for managing the hiring process and coordinating student placements with partner brands. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a passion for helping students achieve their career goals.


Key Responsibilities:


Recruitment:

Manage end-to-end hiring processes for internal and external positions.

Use job portals and other platforms to source and screen candidates.

Conduct interviews, shortlist candidates, and coordinate the onboarding process.

Placement Coordination:

Build and maintain relationships with companies and brands to secure placement opportunities for students.

Organize placement drives, job fairs, and interviews for students.

Assist students in resume building, interview preparation, and career counseling.

Administration:

Maintain records of hiring and placement activities.

Prepare reports on placement success rates and hiring metrics.

Collaborate with the training team to understand student skillsets and align them with job opportunities.

Communication:

Serve as the primary point of contact between students, hiring companies, and internal teams.

Handle queries from students regarding job placements and career guidance.

Regularly update students about new job openings and placement opportunities.

Networking:

Develop strong industry connections to bring more placement opportunities.

Attend networking events, webinars, and company meetings to expand industry contacts.

Skills and Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

1-3 years of experience in HR and placement coordination, preferably in an Edutech or similar environment.

Proficiency in using job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, etc.) and other recruitment tools.

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
