Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee environmental management systems and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
• Conduct regular environmental audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to environmental standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into business strategies and operational processes
• Advise on the development and execution of environmental impact assessments for new projects and expansions
• Monitor and analyze environmental performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and promote sustainability across operations
• Provide guidance and support for environmental training and awareness programs for employees and contractors
• Engage with regulatory authorities and stakeholders to address environmental concerns and maintain positive relationships
• Stay abreast of emerging environmental trends, regulations, and technologies to inform decision-making and drive innovation
• Prepare and present environmental reports, findings, and recommendations to senior management and relevant stakeholders

Qualifications

• 7-13 years of experience in environmental management, preferably within the Copper Business industry
• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing environmental initiatives and compliance programs
• Proven track record of driving sustainable practices and implementing environmental policies
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field
