Job Title: C & I Engineer

Location: Candidate will Ready to work in Jammu and Kashmir Region

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Understands the PLC Panels drawings and performs/supervises maintenance/repair/replacement work in the PLC Panel hardware.

2. Understands the functioning of instruments and their working principles i.e., for Level Transmitter for Sump, Level Transducer for DG Fuel Tank, and Level Switches.

3. Performs/supervises the maintenance/repair/replacement work in the instruments whenever required.

4. Develops PLC programming in Siemens PLC family of Products.

5. Reads and interprets the logical flow diagram.

6. Prepares documents to instruct the users how to use the device and other safety instructions.

7. Troubleshoots any faults in the PLC or SCADA system, Instruments, actuators.

8. Carries out the installation of PLC programs in the remote stations from control centres.

9. Supervises instrument configuration, PLC Panels maintenance/repair work, testing of PLC and SCADA system operation etc.

10. Develops & updates logic for Pump operation, actuator operation, LT, LS, LTd as per site requirement.

11.Understands and strictly adheres to the Siemens environment health safety standards. The resource should undergo SITRUST training at Siemens Mumbai.

12.Coordinates with customer (JKERA/JTFRP/SMC) on daily basis for performing routine maintenance/repair activities of PLC Panels, PDBs, Instruments (LT, LS, & LTd), Communication system, UPS system, CCTV system, actuators, etc.

13.Coordinates with OEM package vendors of different equipment (instruments, UPS system, communication system, CCTV system, actuators, etc.) installed at site for troubleshooting/repair/replacement activities.

14. Submits documents, invoices, etc. and follows up with customer.

Independently plans the maintenance/repair activities in close coordination with customer personnel/operators/customer site in-charge.

15.Prepares and submits the daily, weekly, and monthly reports of maintenance and repair activities.

16.Understands and implements the Siemens EHS requirements and ensures all deputed staff strictly adhere to health and safety standards. The resource should undergo SITRUST training at Siemens Mumbai.

Qualification and Requirements:

1.Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Electrical /Electronics /Automation Engineering.

2.Willingness to travel as and when required.

3.High proficiency in language (English – Must, Hindi or Urdu – Must.

4.Experience ( 2-3 years)
