Job Description
As a Business Development Manager for OKOS, a leading home automation company, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our business. Operating in the dynamic field of smart home technology, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to capitalize on market opportunities, expand our customer base, and enhance our brand presence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. *Market Analysis and Strategy Development:*
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs in the home automation industry.
- Develop comprehensive business development strategies to penetrate new markets and segments.
- Identify potential partnerships, collaborations, and business opportunities to drive growth.
2. *Customer Acquisition and Relationship Management:*
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Develop customized solutions and proposals to meet the specific needs of clients.
- Lead negotiations and contract discussions to secure new business opportunities.
3. *Sales and Revenue Generation:*
- Drive sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.
- Develop sales forecasts and budgets, and monitor performance against targets.
- Implement sales strategies to maximize profitability and ROI.
4. *Product Development and Innovation:*
- Collaborate with the product development team to identify new product opportunities and enhancements.
- Gather feedback from clients and market insights to inform product roadmap decisions.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop effective product positioning and messaging.
5. *Brand Building and Promotion:*
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns and promotional activities to raise brand awareness.
- Represent OKOS at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to showcase our products and solutions.
- Leverage digital marketing channels and social media platforms to engage with customers and generate leads.
6. *Team Leadership and Collaboration:*
- Lead and motivate a team of business development executives to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work culture, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and product development to align business objectives and strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Results-oriented with a focus on driving revenue growth and achieving targets.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel as required.
