Job Title: Accounts and Inventory Manager

Location: Goa

Job Type: Full-time

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts and Inventory Manager to oversee our Dry Fruits and Spices Store in Panjim. This role will ensure accurate accounting practices and efficient inventory control, contributing to the overall financial health and operational efficiency of the store.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Management:

  • Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Ensure timely tax compliance and reporting.

Inventory Management:

  • Oversee inventory control processes, including ordering, receiving, and storage.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits.
  • Analyze inventory turnover rates and implement strategies to optimize stock levels.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to forecast demand and manage stock levels.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Generate and present reports on financial performance and inventory status to management.
  • Identify trends and provide actionable insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in the development of financial and inventory policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in accounting and inventory management, preferably in Financial background.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and inventory management systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
