Position Title: Sales Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager for our Royal Enfield dealership. The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the sales team, driving vehicle and accessory sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring the dealership achieves its sales goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive sales, team leadership, and excellent customer relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Performance Management:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for Royal Enfield motorcycles and related products.
- Monitor and manage sales team performance to ensure targets are met.
- Track and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to adjust sales tactics accordingly.
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and budget projections for management.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to deliver superior customer experiences and exceed sales goals.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the sales team's skills and product knowledge.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss performance, new product launches, and sales strategies.
- Ensure a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and collaboration.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Address customer concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure customers receive personalized and exceptional service, from initial inquiry to post-sale follow-up.
- Oversee the sales process, ensuring a seamless transition from negotiation to vehicle delivery.
- Inventory Management:
- Work with the inventory team to ensure adequate stock levels of Royal Enfield motorcycles, accessories, and spare parts.
- Assist in stock management and ensure proper vehicle display and merchandising in the showroom.
- Marketing and Promotion:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns, events, and dealership offers to increase foot traffic and sales.
- Represent the dealership at local events, trade shows, and promotional activities to build brand awareness.
- Reporting and Administration:
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and vehicle transactions.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends.
- Qualifications:Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Additional sales or automotive training/certification is a plus.
- Experience:
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the automotive industry (preferably with Royal Enfield or other premium motorcycle brands).
- At least 3-5 years of experience in sales, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets.
- Experience in managing a sales team and driving performance.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of sales techniques and customer relationship management.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to analyze sales data and generate reports.
- Passion for motorcycles and understanding of the Royal Enfield brand.
