earned us a strong reputation in the industry. We are seeking an experienced and motivated

Factory Supervisor to oversee our mould manufacturing operations.

Job Summary:

The Factory Supervisor will be responsible for managing and overseeing daily operations in

our mould manufacturing facility. This role involves supervising production teams, ensuring

the efficient and timely production of moulds and accessories, maintaining high-quality

standards, and ensuring a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have a

strong background in manufacturing, with specific experience in moulds for glass

containers.

Key Responsibilities:

● Production Management:

○ Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production

targets and deadlines.

○ Ensure efficient utilisation of manpower, machinery, and materials.

○ Monitor production schedules and adjust workloads as necessary to meet

delivery timelines.

○ Optimise resource utilisation to minimise waste and reduce costs.

○ Able to program the VMC and CNC turning machines as per the model

provided.

● Quality Control:

○ Maintain high standards of quality throughout the production process.

○ Oversee quality checks and ensure that all products meet industry standards

and customer specifications.

○ Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and

reduce defects.

● Team Supervision:

○ Lead, train, and motivate a team of production workers, machinists, and

quality control personnel.

○ Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to improve

team performance.

○ Foster a positive and productive work environment.

● Engineering R&D:

○ Process optimization : Ensure all parts are made with fewer operations and

better quality

○ Smart use of fixtures and tools to increase efficiency

● Customer Management:

○ Understand Customer requirements .

○ Coordinate and manage deadlines according to customer needs

● Maintenance and Equipment:

○ Oversee the maintenance and repair of production machinery and equipment.

○ Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and minimize

downtime.

● Reporting and Documentation:

○ Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.

○ Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.

○ Document and report any incidents, accidents, or equipment malfunctions.

Qualifications:

● Education:

○ Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Industrial Engineering ,

Manufacturing, or a related field.

● Experience:

○ Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a

manufacturing environment, preferably in mould making or glass container

manufacturing.

○ Strong knowledge of mould manufacturing processes and equipment.

● Skills:

○ Proficiency in VMC CAM programming and CNC turning programming.

○ Knowledge of industrial engineering principles, including process

optimization, workflow analysis, and efficiency improvement.

○ Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

○ Proficiency in milling and lathe machines ( CNC and manual ).

○ Good understanding of quality control processes and standards.

○ Strong organisational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience with cast iron or other raw materials used in mould manufacturing.

● Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement

methodologies.
