Job Description

Job Summary: The ERP Operator is responsible for managing and entering data into the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This role ensures that all data is accurate, up-to-date, and entered in a timely manner to support the company’s operational processes and decision-making.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry and Maintenance:


  • Verify and correct data discrepancies and errors.
  • Maintain data integrity and consistency across the ERP system.


  • Data Management:


  • Monitor and manage data entry queues and workflows.
  • Ensure data is organized and accessible for reporting and analysis.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of data management policies and procedures.


  • Support and Training:


  • Provide support to other departments in data entry and ERP system usage.
  • Assist in training new employees on ERP system functionalities and data entry procedures.


  • Reporting and Documentation:


  • Generate and distribute routine and ad-hoc reports from the ERP system.
  • Document data entry procedures and guidelines.
  • Assist in the creation of user manuals and training materials.


  • System Maintenance:


  • Collaborate with IT to troubleshoot and resolve ERP system issues.
  • Participate in ERP system upgrades and testing.
  • Suggest improvements to enhance ERP system efficiency and usability.


Qualifications:

  • Education:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.


  • Experience:


  • Proven experience in data entry or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Ginesys, Logic, Zoho) is desirable.


  • Skills and Competencies:


  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity for operating a computer and other office equipment.
