Responsibilities

• Protection and metering system testing
• Protection and metering schematics and drawing review
• Electrical schemes trouble shooting
• RCA preparation and analysis.
• Electrical testing Laboratory
• Testing of Generator Transformers, Unit Auxiliary Transformers, interconnecting transformers & Distribution Transformers.
• Testing of EHV breakers, Isolators & 400/220 KV Switch yard Equipment.
• Testing of ABB & Areva HT Switch Gear, Breakers, Protective Relays  and Auxiliary Relays 
• Testing of LT Switch Gear, Breakers and Protective Relays and Auxiliary Relays.
• Testing of HT/LT Motors.
• Timely completion of testing activities.
• Responsible for diagnosing root causes and implementing corrective & preventative actions for Electrical Equipment.Protection and metering system testing
