We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, a B.Com degree, and a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic work environment. This role involves handling day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy, and supporting the financial operations of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
• Filing: Maintain and organize financial records, invoices, and documents in both physical and digital formats to ensure easy retrieval and compliance with regulations.
• Management Information System (MIS): Prepare and update MIS reports to assist management in decision-making, including summarizing financial data and performance metrics.
• Voucher Preparation: Create and process payment vouchers, expense vouchers, and other financial documents accurately and in a timely manner.
• Tally Entry: Record financial transactions, including sales, purchases, payments, and receipts, in Tally software with precision.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy between company records and bank statements.
• Additional Tasks: Assist in preparing financial statements, supporting audits, and performing other accounting-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) is mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency with Tally software ().
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for data entry and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
• Good organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
Preferred Attributes:
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in accounting or related fields.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new processes and tools.
• Basic understanding of GST and taxation is a plus but not required.

Work Schedule:
• Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods (e.g., month-end or audit season).

Job Description:
SP Associates is looking for a dedicated and experienced Accountant to manage our accounting operations with accuracy and efficiency.
The candidate will handle day-to-day financial activities, statutory compliance, and reporting related to cement trading and dispatch operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update books of accounts in FOCUS
Record and reconcile sales, purchase, payment, and receipt entries.
Prepare and verify sales invoices, e-invoices, and e-way bills.
Manage GST filing, TDS returns, and other statutory compliance.
Handle bank reconciliations and maintain accurate vendor/customer accounts.
Track outstanding payments and prepare follow-up statements.
Support monthly financial closing, P&L, and balance sheet preparation.
Coordinate with plant, transport, and sales teams for invoice and dispatch documentation.
Assist during internal and statutory audits.


Required Qualifications & Skills:
B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting .
Proficiency in FOCUS, MS Excel, and GST portal.
Strong understanding of inventory and dispatch accounting.
Good communication and coordination skills.
High attention to detail and time management.
