Job Title: Waiter/Waitress

Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Waiters/Waitresses. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for delivering prompt and efficient service while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests upon their arrival, escorting them to their tables and providing menus.
Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, making recommendations when necessary.
Enter orders into the POS system and ensure all special requests or dietary restrictions are communicated to the kitchen staff.
Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately, ensuring proper table etiquette and presentation.
Check on guests periodically to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns or additional needs they may have.
Prepare and deliver checks to guests, process payments accurately, and return change or receipts promptly.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient flow of orders and timely delivery of food.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including clearing and resetting tables as needed.
Uphold high standards of hygiene and food safety practices at all times.
Collaborate with team members to provide excellent overall dining experience and resolve any customer complaints or issues.
Assist in the setup and breakdown of the dining area before and after service.
Stay updated on menu items, specials, and restaurant promotions to provide accurate information to guests.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Requirements:

Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a customer service role is preferred but not mandatory.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
Strong multitasking abilities to handle multiple tables and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining composure and professionalism.
Basic math skills to accurately process payments and handle cash transactions.
Knowledge of food and beverage service techniques, including wine pairing and cocktail preparation, is a plus.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per the needs of the restaurant.
A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Restocking and Inventory: Monitor and replenish cleaning and sanitary supplies, including cleaning agents, detergents, paper products, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Keep track of inventory levels and report to supervisors when supplies need to be ordered.

Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean cleaning equipment, such as mops, brooms, vacuum cleaners, and other tools. Report any equipment malfunctions or damage to the appropriate personnel for repair or replacement.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines while performing cleaning duties. Follow established procedures for handling hazardous substances or potentially dangerous situations. Wear appropriate PPE, such as gloves, safety goggles, or masks, when required.

Reporting and Communication: Report any maintenance issues, safety concerns, or cleaning requirements to the supervisor or relevant personnel. Communicate effectively with coworkers and other staff members to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Specialized Cleaning: Depending on the nature of the factory operations, additional specialized cleaning tasks may be required. For example, cleaning up spills, removing stains, or sanitizing specific equipment or machinery.

Adherence to Policies: Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to cleanliness, health and safety, and security. Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of employees and sensitive areas.
Restroom Cleaning: Clean and sanitize restrooms and washrooms within the factory premises. This includes cleaning toilet bowls, sinks, mirrors, countertops, floors, and walls.

Restocking Supplies: Ensure an adequate supply of restroom essentials such as toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and hand sanitizer. Regularly check and restock these supplies as needed.

Disinfection: Use appropriate cleaning agents and disinfectants in restrooms. Pay particular attention to high-touch surfaces like doorknobs, faucets, flush handles, and light switches.
Machinery Cleaning: Clean machinery and equipment used in the production process to remove dirt, dust, and residue. Follow specific cleaning procedures provided by the manufacturer or supervisor to ensure safe and effective cleaning.

Equipment Sanitization: Use appropriate cleaning agents and sanitizers to disinfect machinery surfaces, ensuring they are free from contaminants that could affect product quality or employee safety.
