मुख्य जिम्मेदारी (Job Summary):
पैटर्न और डिजाइन के विनिर्देशों (specifications) के अनुसार कपड़े की परतों को सटीकता से काटना और बर्बादी (wastage) को कम करना।
प्रमुख कार्य (Key Tasks):
डिजाइन के अनुसार कपड़े पर सटीक मार्किंग और लेआउट तैयार करना।
हाथ से चलने वाली या CNC कटिंग मशीनों का उपयोग करके कपड़े काटना।
काटने से पहले कपड़े की गुणवत्ता और परतों (layering) की जांच करना।
कटे हुए हिस्सों को बंडल बनाना और अगले विभाग (सिलाई) के लिए तैयार करना।

आवश्यक योग्यता (Qualifications):
कटिंग मशीनों (Straight/Band knife) को चलाने का अनुभव।
मेजरिंग टेप और पैटर्न की गहरी समझ।
बारीकियों पर ध्यान देने की क्षमता (Attention to detail)।
