Summary:
In the role of Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineering Lead, a typical day involves taking ownership of the design and continuous improvement of packaged or cloud-based solutions. This includes managing the configuration settings, coordinating integrations with other systems, and overseeing the release cycles to ensure smooth deployment. The role requires setting and maintaining platform standards that guarantee system stability and optimal performance while balancing the requirements and limitations imposed by both business needs and vendor capabilities. Collaboration with various stakeholders to align technical solutions with organizational goals is a key aspect of daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance platform reliability and efficiency.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure alignment on project objectives.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM).
- Strong knowledge of platform configuration and integration techniques within cloud-based environments.
- Experience in managing software release processes and version control.
- Ability to establish and enforce technical standards to maintain system performance and reliability.
- Skilled in troubleshooting complex issues and providing effective solutions across multiple teams.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with diverse stakeholders and facilitate collaborative problem-solving.
