Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of specialized applications. This role requires taking ownership of projects, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that solutions meet the defined requirements. The position demands proactive engagement in problem-solving and continuous improvement of software functionalities to support business objectives effectively.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for application development.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with project stakeholders to ensure alignment on deliverables.
- Document technical specifications and provide guidance to junior team members as needed.
- Continuously monitor application performance and implement enhancements to improve efficiency.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM Maximo.
- Experience in customizing and configuring enterprise asset management solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and working knowledge of related software tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in IBM Maximo.
- This position is based at our BDC11 - SEZ office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
