Technology->Business Intelligence - Data Virtualization->Qliksense Preferred Qualifications: • Strong hands-on experience with QlikView, including migration/modernization of QlikView assets to QlikSense where applicable. • Experience establishing BI standards (naming conventions, reusable components, documentation) and mentoring team members. • Proven ability to design user-friendly dashboards with strong data storytelling and visualization best practices. • Experience with enterprise deployment practices, release management, and supporting multi-environment BI operations. • Ability to influence stakeholders, manage priorities, and drive adoption through training, demos, and iterative improvements. Key Responsibilities: Solution Delivery & Leadership • Lead end-to-end development of QlikSense applications, from requirement discovery to deployment and support. • Translate business needs into scalable BI solutions, defining KPIs, measures, and dashboard layouts aligned to decision workflows. • Provide technical guidance to developers, enforce standards, and conduct design/code reviews for QlikSense apps and scripts. Data Modeling & Performance • Design efficient data models (star/snowflake where applicable) and implement robust Qlik load scripts for reliable data ingestion. • Optimize application performance through best practices in data reduction, aggregation, incremental loads, and app design. • Troubleshoot data quality, reload failures, and performance bottlenecks across environments. Governance, Security & Operations • Implement section access and security rules to ensure appropriate data visibility and compliance. • Manage publishing, streams, and reload scheduling; support release processes and environment stability. • Maintain documentation for data models, business logic, and operational procedures to ensure maintainability. Stakeholder Collaboration • Partner with business and data stakeholders to validate insights, refine dashboards, and drive user adoption. • Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies clearly, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with priorities. Minimum Qualifications: • BTECH, MTECH, MCA, MSC or equivalent education. • 6–8 years of experience in BI/Analytics with strong hands-on expertise in QlikSense development. • Strong experience in QlikSense scripting, data modeling, and building interactive dashboards and KPI reporting. • Working knowledge of data integration concepts and ability to analyze and resolve data/reporting issues. • Experience collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver production-ready BI solutions.
