Mineral Processing - Design Engineer
•Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
•Design mineral processing circuits including crushing, grinding, classification, flotation, leaching, and dewatering.
•Select appropriate technologies and equipment based on ore characteristics and project goals.
• Create detailed plant layouts using CAD tools.
• Collaborate with civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers to integrate systems.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Conduct feasibility studies and techno-economic evaluations.
• Perform mass balance and water balance calculations.
• Simulate process performance using modeling softwares. Provide engineering support during construction, commissioning, and ramp-up phases.
•Review vendor drawings and specifications.
•Coordinate with procurement and construction teams to ensure timely delivery of equipment
• Integrate environmental and sustainability considerations into plant design.
• Ensure compliance with local and international mining regulations.
• Design systems for dust control, water recycling, and tailings management.
