The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Critical Manufacturing MES Modeller to lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions using the Critical Manufacturing platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating manufacturing business processes into scalable MES models, configuring workflows, products, resources, and equipment, and ensuring seamless integration with enterprise and shop-floor systems.

The role requires strong expertise in MES modeling, production workflows, manufacturing operations, and system integrations. The candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, quality teams, and IT organizations to deliver robust MES solutions that drive operational excellence, traceability, compliance, and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead MES modeling and configuration using Critical Manufacturing MES.
• Design products, routings, workflows, DCPs, and equipment/resource models.
• Translate manufacturing processes and SOPs into scalable MES solutions.
• Define modeling standards, templates, and best practices.
• Perform fit-gap analysis and develop solution blueprints.
• Configure MES modules including Work Execution, SPC, NC/CAPA, Traceability, EBR/eDHR, Equipment Integration, and Scheduling.
• Lead MES integrations with ERP systems and shop-floor systems.
• Ensure data integrity, version control, and lifecycle management.
• Mentor team members and lead design/configuration reviews.
• Support validation, testing, deployment, and hypercare activities.
• Responsible for decision-making, optimizing processes, resource management, and overseeing team management as needed for task execution.
• Accountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organizational goals.

Skills and attributes for success

• 4+ years of handson experience in Critical Manufacturing MES implementations and Rollouts, master data modelling and enrichment.
• Certified Critical Manufacturing Professional / Associate: Modeler/Developer
• Previous work experience in MES implementation using any platform.
• Strong knowledge of production modeling, workflow configuration, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Experience in MES-ERP integrations and manufacturing system connectivity.
• Working knowledge of SQL, REST APIs, and Critical Manufacturing MES Event Handlers.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, MES design, and configuration best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
• Experience in MES implementation, configuration, testing, deployment, and support activities.
• Good communication skills
• Able to work independently and have leadership skills.
• Customer-oriented and committed to working systematically under tight schedules.
• Develop and produce technical reports, process flow diagrams and documentation in support of design and developments.
• Innovate, propose new ideas and define the technical approach to challenging problems
