Piping Designer
• Having good knowledge of Plant Layout, General arrangment drawings, Tank Nozzle orientation, Piping Layout and Pipe supports.
• 3D Modeling of Equipment and Piping using Aveva E3D/PDMS software to produce documents like Piping Arrangement drawings, Piping Isometric drawings, Piping BOQ, Piping Support drawings etc.
• Well conversed with ASME and IS standards
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting) is essential.
• Hands on experience in 3D software packages (PDMS or E3D)
• Piping Bill of Quantity preparation.
• Interface checking and co-ordination in layout drawing with other desciplines.
• Preparation of Piping Isometric, Piping GA & Fabrication drawings for pipe spools.
• Review of vendor’s design documents & drawings
• Correspondence with clients & vendors
