About the Role

You will be:

• Responsible for ensuring a high level of transaction processing for all cash deposits, withdrawals, including middle office payment and cash operations within Bank policy and procedures, and local regulations.
• Responsible for providing support for team member / Manager to meet customer’s requirement.

What will your day look like?

• Balancing cash at the end of day and ensure cash Intraday & overnight is keeping within the limit.
• Responsible for cash Loss.
• Coordinate with the team member for those transactions to be processed by Back office in Bangalore.
• Ensure internal accounts reconcilliation with proper escalation matrix in place.
• Accurate, complete & timely regulatory reporting applicable to all regulators.
• Ensuring levy of agreed tariff for products serviced by the unit.
• Ensure accurate & efficient completion of all transactions.
• Provide advice & assistance to any customer enquiries or refer them promptly to Customer Service Officer/Manager for handling.
• Provide a responsible & accurate telling service by maintaining & applying an up to date knowledge of transaction banking policies, practices, procedures and law.
• Ensuring that work instruction are updated and relevant to the operating environment and applicable regulatory/internal guidelines.
• Upskill and learn other areas of operations and be ready to cross support them after gaining adequate knowledge.
• Foster sound working relationships with the sales, implementation and client servicing teams to deliver superior customer service.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• 5+ years of experience in Payment Operations (like Cross Border payments, RTGS and NEFT)
• Exposure and thorough understanding of ANZ Risk and Compliance management
• Strong knowledge of e-payment tools and regulatory requirements
• Ability to manage conflicts and/or escalations in a productive manner which encourages active operational risk management to ensure a well-managed business
• Knowledge of Institutional Banking operations, instruments and processes
• Knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements
• Reasonable written and oral communication skills
• Able to use initiative, take action and be persistent in addressing issues
• Tertiary education in Banking & Financial Services
