JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Clinical Business Analyst with 4-6 years of experience to support the design and implementation of AI-assisted clinical data review workflows. The role requires strong business analysis expertise, process mapping, requirements elicitation, stakeholder facilitation, and data analysis capabilities. The candidate will work closely with clinical SMEs, UX teams, Data, AI, and Engineering teams to translate clinical review processes into structured business and functional requirements for human-in-the-loop AI solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Map current-state clinical data review processes and define future-state AI-assisted workflows, including reviewer activities, decision points, exceptions, and human-agent handoffs.
• Facilitate requirements gathering, process design workshops, and stakeholder discussions with business teams, clinical SMEs, and product teams.
• Develop detailed functional requirements, user journeys, business rules, user stories, acceptance criteria, and maintain end-to-end traceability.
• Analyze clinical review requirements, underlying data/listings, review logic, triggers, exceptions, and reviewer actions to support solution design.
• Partner with clinical SMEs to translate review judgment and business rules into implementable AI-assisted workflow requirements.
• Define human-in-the-loop requirements, including AI recommendations, reviewer validation, approvals, and escalation paths.
• Perform exploratory data analysis using Excel, SQL, and Databricks/Genie to validate business assumptions and support requirements definition.
• Collaborate with UX, Data, AI, and Engineering teams to ensure business requirements are effectively translated into user experiences and technical solutions.
• Develop business-focused test scenarios, support UAT activities, and ensure alignment between requirements, design, development, and testing.
• Prepare workshop materials, requirements documents, presentations, and proactively manage dependencies, assumptions, risks, and open questions.
  
  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 4-6 years of Business Analysis experience supporting complex, data-driven, or workflow-oriented solutions.
• Strong expertise in requirements elicitation, process mapping, workshop facilitation, user story development, business rules definition, and acceptance criteria creation.
• Hands-on experience with Excel, SQL, and data analysis for business requirements validation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, clinical SMEs, UX teams, and technical teams.
