Job Description: Product Manager - AI & Digital Initiatives

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Product Manager to join our dynamic team and drive key AI and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and scaling AI products, with proven experience in the fintech or financial services space. This role is critical to our mission of leveraging cutting-edge technology to enhance customer experience, optimize operations, and drive innovation as a leader in the Indian banking sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Roadmap: Contribute to the product strategy and manage the execution of the roadmap for our AI-powered solutions, including but not limited to, voice bots, OCR-driven document processing, and internal AI agents.
• Platform-Level Requirements: Act as the primary interface between business needs and the engineering team. Develop detailed product requirements and Gherkin specifications to ensure that AI capabilities are built as reusable platforms that can be applied to various use cases across the bank.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with data scientists, engineers, designers, and business stakeholders to conceptualize, build, and launch new AI products and features. This role is focused on the 'what' and 'why', collaborating with engineering on the 'how'.
• Customer & Market Insight: Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback sessions to identify opportunities and inform product decisions.
• Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization, ensuring products meet business goals and user needs.
• Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate product vision, progress, and results to senior management and other key stakeholders.
• Go-to-Market Strategy: Partner with marketing, sales, and operations teams to develop and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches.

Required Qualifications

• Experience:
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years specifically focused on building and shipping AI products.
  • Proven experience building and launching voice bots for customer service or internal operations.
  • Hands-on experience with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) AI for document processing and data extraction.
  • Track record of creating and deploying AI agents for various business roles, such as underwriting, fraud analysis, or sales support.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fintech or financial services company is a significant advantage.
  • A strong portfolio of successful products launched and scaled.
• Technical & Domain Expertise:
  • Solid understanding of the AI/ML product development lifecycle, including data pipelines, model training, and deployment.
  • Proven ability to write clear, actionable Gherkin syntax and technical requirements for a platform-based approach.
  • Familiarity with modern AI technologies such as Generative AI, machine learning, and natural language processing (NLP).
• Certifications:
  • Possession of relevant certifications in AI, machine learning, or product management (e.g., PMP, CSPO, or specialized AI/ML certifications from reputable providers like Google, AWS, or Coursera) is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
