Lead Salesforce Engineer - Data Cloud & Agentforce

Scope:

• The Sr. Salesforce Data Cloud & Agentforce Engineer is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and optimization of Salesforce Data Cloud and AI capabilities supporting Blue Yonder's Commercial Technology organization. This role serves as the technical expert for Salesforce Data Cloud, Agentforce, CRM Analytics, Document AI, and Customer 360 solutions, helping transform enterprise data into AI-ready assets that drive intelligent business processes and customer experiences.
• Working closely with Enterprise Architecture, Data Engineering, Salesforce Development, Business Analysts, and business stakeholders, this individual will build scalable data integrations, configure Data Cloud capabilities, develop AI-enabled solutions, and support enterprise initiatives including Customer 360, Contract Intelligence, Sales AI, and advanced analytics.
• The ideal candidate combines deep Salesforce platform expertise with hands-on experience implementing Data Cloud, enterprise integrations, and AI capabilities, while maintaining a strong focus on data quality, governance, security, and business value.

What you'll do:

• Design, configure, and optimize Salesforce Data Cloud solutions.
• Build and maintain Data Streams from enterprise systems including CRM, ERP, data warehouses, and external applications.
• Configure Data Model Objects (DMOs), Identity Resolution, data mappings, and data transformations.
• Develop Calculated Insights, Segments, and Data Actions to support business use cases.
• Configure and optimize Agentforce capabilities, including Skills, Topics, Actions, Prompt Templates, and AI grounding.
• Implement Customer 360 and Contract Intelligence solutions leveraging Salesforce AI technologies.
• Configure and support CRM Analytics datasets, dashboards, and AI-driven insights.
• Integrate Salesforce Data Cloud with enterprise platforms such as Databricks, APIs, middleware, and other cloud applications.
• Support Document AI implementations and AI-assisted metadata extraction.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify, design, and deliver AI-powered business capabilities.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance across Data Cloud implementations.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize platform performance.
• Stay current with Salesforce releases and recommend new capabilities that improve business outcomes.
• Create technical documentation, implementation standards, and best practices.
• Mentor other Salesforce developers on Data Cloud and Agentforce capabilities.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of Salesforce platform experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on Salesforce Data Cloud implementation experience.
• Experience configuring Data Streams, Data Model Objects (DMOs), Identity Resolution, and Calculated Insights.
• Experience with Salesforce Agentforce, Einstein AI, or other enterprise AI technologies.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications using APIs, middleware, or ETL technologies.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data governance, and master data concepts.
• Experience with CRM Analytics.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Data Cloud Accredited Professional or equivalent certification.
• Salesforce AI Associate or AI Specialist certification.
• Salesforce Platform Developer certification.
• Experience with Databricks or enterprise data platforms.
• Experience implementing Customer 360 initiatives.
• Experience with Document AI or intelligent document processing.
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise data integrations.
• Knowledge of Prompt Engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts.
• Experience supporting Sales, Service, or Commercial Technology organizations.
