Asst. Manager -Indirect Buying

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Procurement of FOS items (Factory operated supplies) by following proper guidelines set by Service contract cell / GIS team and responsible for Procurement to Pay cycle
2. Procurement of Export related Frames and all sorts of Packaging material necessary for Export Tractor Despatches
3. Services Buying related to non-machinery and as per the Agreement / Contracts Finalized by Service Contract Cell / GIS Dept
4. Understanding scope of work from various user department & procurement of FOS items
5. Effective Implementation of Rate contracts as per commercials settled by SCC / GIS
6. Ensuring process adherence in Purchasing.
7. IT Utilization of Latest Trends in Procurement Practices. Knowledge of SAP, GEP etc
8. Coordinate with Service Contract Cell / GIS, Engineering, Maintenance, Stores, Inspection, Accounts & Suppliers.
9. Effective Implementation of Synergy Initiatives jointly along with SCC cell / GIS Dept
10. Involvement in Digital Initiatives
11. Spend Analysis of FOS & Services
12. Inventory Management – Monitor & Review Levels. Generation of Min, ROL & Max levels and Monitoring of FOS Stock items
13. Monthly MIS preparation for Department KRA’s to be presented to Management by co-ordination amongst team members and other stakeholders
