• Develop responsive SAPUI5 freestyle and Fiori Elements applications from approved designs. 

• Create XML views, controllers, fragments, models, formatters, reusable controls, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS. 

• Consume and extend assigned OData services and coordinate service contracts with ABAP/CDS developers. 

• Customize or extend standard SAP Fiori applications using supported mechanisms. 

• Configure tiles or target mappings, catalogs, groups or spaces/pages according to team standards. 

• Perform unit testing, debugging, defect correction, performance analysis, deployment, and incident support. 

• Use BAS, Web IDE where applicable, VS Code, Eclipse/ADT, and Git. 

• Collaborate with functional, UX, security, backend, integration, and testing teams. 

• Follow coding, documentation, accessibility, review, and quality standards. 

• Should be proficient with AI tools like Claude, Github Copilot and Microsoft Copilot. 

• Expectation is to leverage AI tools for code generation and Unit testing. 

• Evaluate and guide appropriate adoption of AI and Generative AI capabilities across SAP engineering solutions, including AI-assisted development, testing, documentation, troubleshooting and automation.  

• Establish responsible usage patterns that consider security, data privacy, human oversight, clean-core principles and applicable AI governance requirements.
