Position Summary:  Describe below the primary purpose and function of this job

Responsible for processing expense reimbursement utilizing the Concur system as it relates to the role of the Accounts Payable administration. Responsible for Overseeing expense reporting processes, ensuring compliance with company policies, supporting users, and working with cross-functional teams to streamline expense-related operations. Ensure that all expense report are prrocessed in a timely and accurate manner. Resolve issues and problems relating to expenses.  Communicate with and educate company personnel as to Expense related policies and procedures.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:  List up to 5 key duties and responsibilities, management responsibilities and time spent (if applicable)

-Review, audit, and approve employee expense reports in accordance with corporate travel and expense policies.
Provide training and documentation for employees on using Concur.

-Administer and maintain the SAP Concur Expense system including user profiles, workflows, and configurations.

-Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to expense submissions and system issues.

-Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and reports as required.

-Documents update on SOP and Desktop procedures annually.

-Responsible for managing their own daily workload, prioritizing tasks, ensuring SLA’s are met, improving customer partnerships and training business partners.Ensure all activities are completed in a timely manner.

-This position will networks with colleagues on a regular basis to resolve issues, gain required information and influence outcomes for the group.  Individual will partner with colleagues, management, customers and external contacts as needed.

Nature of Impact - To what degree does this job affect the business (i.e., through interactions with customers, making decisions, defining or setting strategy, etc.)?

     This position will interact primarily with internal business areas within Corporate Controllership and line of business operations. The position will process and analyze employee expenses and ensures accurate expense reporting, reducing errors that could lead to financial discrepancies.In this role the individual will perform operations for Employee expense reimbusement as the primary duties.

Problem Solving:  What is nature and complexity of the problems or decisions encountered? Are analytical skills needed?

Strong analytical skills are needed to research Expense discrepancies the employees may encounter.  Additionally, the responsibilities include prompt and complete customer request supporting issue resolutions with customers and training business partners.

Functional Knowledge:  What knowledge of concepts, process, principles or procedures is needed within discipline; SME?

Knowledge of Statutory / GAAP accounting principles and understanding of internal and SOX controls to perform moderately complex tasks such as risk/control validations, journal entries, account reconciliations and GL/AP Analysis.

Interactions / Interpersonal Skills:  Describe the nature and level of interactions this job has with others, both internally and externally.  Explain any specific interpersonal skills necessary to successfully perform this role (i.e., negotiation skills, represents business at external events or to governmental bodies, etc. ).

Job Requirements And Qualifications:  Indicate the minimum and preferred education and experience for the job and any licenses and certifications required

Required Education:

BA/BS/B.com

Accounting or equivalent experience

Required Experience:

1-3 years

 

Skills and Abilities:

Experience using Concur Expense reimbursement suite application (Concur)

Experience using OBIEE (BI Analytics)

Microsoft suite of applications (Excel, Word & SharePoint)

Experience drafting and creating policies and procedures
