We are currently seeking a Mechanical Lead, to join our Delhi Team, and this position will be directly reporting to Site Manager / JGM - Construction

About the mission we offer you:

You will be responsible to Support field technical issues and support sub-team leads in technical communications with clients/vendors when required. This role involves developing, implementing and Liaising with Engineering disciplines for the necessary inputs.

Qualifications / Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in engineering, Mechanical or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 to 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry or similar role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently.

About you:

 

We love to hear from you and how you match with this position. To be successful in this mission you should consider the following requirements:

 

Lead and supervise all mechanical site activities, including equipment installation, piping, fabrication, erection, and related mechanical works.  
- Ensure all mechanical works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, procedures, and project requirements.  
- Coordinate with subcontractors, supervisors, foremen, and discipline engineers to ensure smooth execution of mechanical activities.  
- Review work fronts, material availability, and site readiness prior to execution of mechanical works.  
- Monitor progress of mechanical activities and ensure compliance with the project schedule and milestones.  
- Oversee installation, alignment, assembly, and testing of mechanical equipment and associated components.  
- Coordinate with piping, structural, electrical, and civil teams to manage interfaces and resolve site issues.  
- Ensure proper execution of fabrication, erection, fit-up, alignment, and completion activities for mechanical systems.  
- Verify that all mechanical works comply with applicable codes, standards, and quality procedures.  
- Support QA/QC inspections, punch listing, and work acceptance activities.  
- Monitor and enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements at the site.  
- Identify technical and execution issues, provide solutions, and escalate critical matters when required.  
- Prepare daily progress reports, look-ahead plans, and site execution updates.  
- Support coordination of material control, equipment handling, and preservation requirements.  
- Assist in pre-commissioning and completion activities as required by the project scope.
