Job Title: Senior Automation Test Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in web, mobile, and API automation testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing scalable automation frameworks using Java and should be proficient in Selenium, Appium, and REST API automation. The candidate should be passionate about quality engineering, Agile methodologies, and continuous integration practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web, mobile (Android & iOS), and API testing.

• Develop and execute automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, Appium, and TestNG .

• Perform API automation using Rest Assured and validate RESTful services.

• Execute cross-platform mobile automation testing for Android and iOS applications.

• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test strategies.

• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions .

• Maintain automation code using Git and build tools such as Maven or Gradle .

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.

• Continuously improve automation frameworks, testing processes, and quality standards.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Java 8 and above , including Streams, Lambda Expressions, and Functional Programming.

• Good understanding of Java Design Patterns and SOLID Principles .

• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java .

• Strong experience in Appium for Android and iOS mobile automation.

• Good understanding of ADB commands and Xcode .

• Experience in REST API automation using Rest Assured .

• Strong knowledge of Git and build tools such as Maven or Gradle .

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

• Familiarity with Agile Scrum/Kanban methodologies.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Cucumber (BDD) .

• Knowledge of Feign Client .

• Experience with Allure Reporting .

• Exposure to HeadSpin for mobile testing.

• Familiarity with Grafana dashboards.

• Understanding of Java WebSocket .

• Basic knowledge of C# or willingness to learn.
