Role Summary

Network Automation Developers are responsible for developments to automate the network infrastructure

Main tasks

Coding Writing clean efficient instructions in programming languages Python Java etc

Designing Planning how an apps features and database will work together

Debugging Finding and fixing errors bugs to ensure the software runs smoothly

Testing Verifying that new features work correctly and dont break existing ones

Integrating Connecting different systems or services APIs to share data

Deploying Moving code from a sandbox to the live environment for users

Documenting Writing guides so other developers can understand the code

Collaborating Working with business teams to turn their ideas into technical reality

Required Skills Experience

Experience with network infrastructure eg Switch FW Loadbalancer and designing Ansible automation for Networking environments

Ansible including Ansible Core Ansible TowerAWX or equivalent Ansible collections roles playbooks inventories and Vault

Strong understanding of automation principles workflow design and best practices for creating scalable maintainable and secure automation solutions

Proficiency in scripting languages eg Python Bash for Ansible module development API integration and custom tooling

Experience with Git and CICD pipelines for managing Ansible content and enabling automated deployments

Experience with Agile Methodology

Familiarity with IT Service Management
