Job Description: 

Position Summary

We are seeking a techno-functional Product Manager, SAP MDG to drive enhancements and governance of enterprise master data solutions. This role will partner with business and technology teams to evaluate master data change requests, facilitate governance approvals, and manage the delivery of approved enhancements within SAP MDG and related platforms.

The ideal candidate has experience in master data management, data governance, SAP MDG, and agile product delivery, with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable product roadmaps and user stories.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the product owner for SAP MDG master data enhancements and governance-related initiatives.
• Partner with business stakeholders, governance teams, and IT teams to evaluate and prioritize master data change requests.
• Manage requests involving new attributes, validations, reference tables, business rules, and related data model changes.
• Facilitate governance reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise data standards and policies.
• Develop and maintain product roadmaps, backlogs, user stories, and release plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver solutions on time and with high quality.
• Track project progress, manage dependencies, and communicate status to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5-6 years of experience in Product Management, Master Data Management, Data Governance, SAP MDG, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of master data concepts, governance processes, and data quality principles.
• Experience working with SAP MDG and enterprise data management solutions.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional requirements and user stories.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and project coordination skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments preferred.
